Feeling happy to have found this forum, what a wonderful resource!
I have a long (and often wobbly) relationship to meditation/mindfulness practices. I started meditation in my early 20's while in recovery from alcohol/drug addiction and pretty severe anxiety. It has made such a huge difference in my life and I'm so grateful for that.
My main practices at the moment include sitting meditation, sensory awareness classes, and lots of yoga nidra.
I just learned about the book 'Mindfulness: Finding Peace in a Frantic World' through this site and got myself a copy this morning. I look forward to going through the course and getting to know some of you through the forum.
