I have built and Android app that allows one to be mindful while working. Each of us is faced with a plethora of distractions every day at work. My app allows one to cut through this clutter and define a series small time-boxed goals to achieve every day.

The core process is an improvement upon the Pomodoro technique where the time-box is so small one cannot possibly achieve flow. I believe achieving flow is important as it leads to a greater sense of achievement, hence increasing happiness.

In addition to increasing the time-box length, I have developed a small check list of items to run through in preparation for each goal ensuring one's mind does not wander during the task.

Check preparation process is :
1) Acknowledge each item : Eat, Drink, Use the Toilet, Get Material, Silence your inner monologue, Prepare your environment to avoid distractions.
2) Define the time-box period 40 - 90 minutes.
3) Set your goal.

Once the time has expired you are asked to reflect on your progress so as to understand the elements that led to success and learn from your failures.

The reflection questions are :
1) Did you achieve your goal
2) What worked?
3) What did not work?
4) What will you do differently next time.

I would appreciate feedback on the process expressed in the app.

I'm sorry, I've never heard of the Pomodoro technique. Is it related to mindfulness, which is really what we're all about.

We don't tend to do links to things that are commercial, I'm afraid.
