Good morning

Please post your mindfulness stories here and your story might also feature on our blog (with your permission). You can also introduce yourself here. We want to create a library of mindful journeys and experiences.

Hi there, I'm Eugene and I live in Scotland. I'm new to Mindfullness, via FPIAFW, following a collapse at work that made me rethink my priorities. I'm finding the course challenging ( just starting week 5) but have noticed several benefits: I'm certainly more compassionate with my self and others. I have some problems accessing my difficulties during meditation - but will mention them on the proper thread - is the FPIAFW thread still going, no recent entries? Cheers

Hello Eugene.
Welcome to the forum. Good to have you on board.
I think you'll find us a friendly bunch and, be assured, we'll always endeavour to do our best to help out with queries.
Feel free to comment on the FPIAFW thread. It's ongoing even though there have been no comments posted recently. Otherwise, just open a new comment thread.
Week five of the course, if memory serves, is when we are asked to gently turn towards difficult thoughts or emotions. It can be a challenging point in the course for some people. The most important thing is that you are kind and patient with yourself.
If any questions pop up, please fire away.
All best wishes,
Jon, Hove

Welcome to the forum Eugene, and welcome to this wonderful journey.

The FPIAFW world threads are a little untidy where they are, but we are yet to work out a way to formulate them better.

Still, there is some fantastic content in there, some of which is sure to help you if you are undertaking the course.

Welcome to the community :)
