Mindfullness and separation

Post here if you are just starting out with your mindfulness practice. Mindfulness is a really difficult concept to get your head around at first, and it might be that you would benefit from some help from others.

As a subtext to 'connecting with people' I would add, 'consider joining or starting a meet-up group'.
I'd highly recommend meetup.com
When I first started meditating five years ago, I started my own mindfulness meet-up group here in Brighton, UK. At its peak, we had 670 members. It's no longing up and running for various reasons, but I'm aiming to start a new one soon.
Cheers,
Jon

Funny that you are mentioning meetup here. I actually joined meetup.com a few days ago. Hopefully I'll find some interesting people through there also.

Eckhart Tolle is not usually one of my favorites, but this 10 minute speech carried a very important message to me about how to relate to betrayal, or maybe more aptly "how to not relate to it".

Maybe it can be helpful to someone else also.

Thanks MiM. Tolle actually is one of my favorites!
