And then we have days like this.

I've come to the forum this morning, and there are loads of posts to go through.

:D me too. It's funny how things happen like that. It brings to mind ripples of waves....sometimes calm and quiet, then building up and becoming active....then returning to calm. Always changing.

Hi. Well I'm well behind the times here but I would like to chip in.
I was be good at being very mindful and meditating when I had depression early 2015. The depression lifted and I got out of the habit. I have suffered on and for with anxiety since 2009, on and off of anti depressants thought out that time.
My anxiety is back and I am so grateful to you for this site. I need to stay with this. I want to learn to stay committed to the practice, because I belive it is the way forward for me. I stopped meds in March and just started them again. There has to be way for me to deal, with my thoughts without medication. Surely to God there must be!
This site really helps me and I am inspired by you Gareth. Ridiculously all of my issues are imagined potential threats. And I just end up feeling ashamed that I feel such fear and sorrow when I should be enjoying my life.

Hi Karen,
It sounds like a good time for you to be grounded (or regrounded) in the practice. Have you considered enrolling on an 8-week course, either with local teacher or via Skype?
All best wishes,
Jon
