Is there any point to this practice?

Post here if you are just starting out with your mindfulness practice. Mindfulness is a really difficult concept to get your head around at first, and it might be that you would benefit from some help from others.

Yes, thank-you all - I forgot I'd written it. Some lovely advice & great links, thanks for those.

I am still frustrated, but not so much, now. I am working my way through Sharon Salzberg's 'The Power Of Meditation' at the moment, it's quite good and very instructive, I would recommend it for beginners (which I still am, despite many years of trying!).
