I'm in agreement with The Flying Dutchman on this one.

Yes, it really helped me out. I've since started week 6 which I'm finding interesting. Things change/develop/happen so fast. It's incredible. : )

I'm finding week 6 (sorry, I couldn't see a week 6 slot) really quite interesting and I'm feeling changes happen. I'm actually starting to realise just how much I've judged myself and been quite unkind to myself. I have always found it easier to forgive and be kind to others than myself! What an eyeopener.

I'm came here looking for the 6th week trade, too!
For me it's the same, I'm really starting to notice big changes happening. And I'm really appreciating every day of practice, without anticipating the next week or wishing it to end. For someone who used to have a giant lack of patience, that's amazing to see.

Hi, JonW!
I just "finished" the 8 week program and I'm feeling really happy for everything I have achieved. Mindfulness is turning into a way of life, I'm feeling really thankful for everytime I 'wake up", for every little chance I get to being aware for the present moment. Week 8 was really difficult, because it took time and patience to turn the practices into a long therm plan. But it has proven to be a really amazing opportunity to reconnect with myself and being honest about my routine, my daily activities and the necessary rebalancing of my life.
Best wishes, F.

Exactly how I've felt during this one. Is there a thread for week 6? Do feel after reading these threads like I've gone about my whole practise not treating it what to learn each week & kind of missed the points I was actually learning. Wasn't really taking in the key points more just doing the practise each day as a formalitity. Also only just realised going back through that I haven't necessarily been using the 3minute breathing space period to my full advtange. With the observing bodily sensations I haven't been scanning the body to see which parts were tense etc, was more just obvserving the contact on the floor & if i had any head rush type sensations.
One thing I've just read on page 131: "What body sensations are here right now..." "Pick up any sensations of tightness or bracing, acknowledging the sensations but once against not trying to change then" surely immediately if you notice your shoulders tense or for me my belly gets tense you instantly relax that muscle? Should you just acknowledge like my belly is tightly pushed out without relaxing it? It kind of automatically relaxes and so do most my muscles when i do a body scan.. Thanks!!
