Glad to hear it, Peter.
Of course, the Dutch are not daft when it comes to chocolate. In fact, it doesn't get much better than a chocolate truffle from Vanderdonk, Amsterdam. Cor dear,

Wow so I just remembered my issues with week 3 the first time around.
Does anyone feel sick after doing the mindful movement? It's like the sickness I get when I've excercised too hard and it lingers for a while afterwards making the seated meditation impossible as I feel so sick.
Obviously I would look at the movement I'm doing but I wouldn't say I'm pushing too hard or anything that would cause it.
I even had to pause the meditation just to have a minute as I got head rush and felt really ill. I got some water and in the mirror I noticed I had gone really white!! Haha. I'm guessing this isn't common?
When I did the course a year ago I remember the same thing happening, I'm not sure if it did it for the whole week or not.

I am finding it hard to find peace in the stretching meditation for some reason. The one that follows is much easier to get into, although I do get uncomfortable sitting with back straight, without support. i have been trying to embrace the back pain and not let the thoughts lead me down the path of worrying about future back issues.
Absolutely love the three minute meditation - helps ground me during the work day more than anything else.

'I am finding it hard to find peace in the stretching meditation for some reason.'
Then drop the goal ('I want to feel peaceful') and replace it with a simple intention (to be mindful).

Thanks Jon - I guess I found the first two meditations to be relaxing but have to remind myself that's not the goal here or with mindfulness in general.
As someone else said earlier, all this stretching makes me feel self conscious about my body and makes me start ruminating about exercising (or lack thereof). I am more successful at quickly recognizing when it happens, however, so that's something

That's very true. Relaxation can be a welcome by-product of mindfulness but it's not the aim.
Mindful movement is not to everyone's taste. Just do your best with it for this week. Then maybe return to it at a later time and see if you feel any different about it.
Cheers,
Jon
