3 years ago today I separated from my partner and moved out of the house away from my kids. Depression hit and became worse by the day for the next 9 months and during this time I suffered a severe injury to my left elbow. Then I found the right medication to treat my depression and it gave me valuable relief to rebuild my life.
Since 1st of January 2016, I have lost 4 stone in weight, eat healthy, exercise regularly, see the mates again and have practiced mindfulness for at least an hour a day but more often for 2 hours.
Yesterday I congratulated my ex and her partner on their new baby boy.
Life is sweet !!

I can see why mindfulness is becoming a major part of therapy for mental illness these days. Not only did it help with depression, but also, as it becomes an integral part of my life, helps in all manner of different ways, from being a dad, right thru to my performance at work !!
Of course, I understand that there are people everywhere who are suffering far worse than I did, so in a true mindful manner I wish them all the sweetness in life !
