This site is so helpful and supportive :)

I'm Tracey.. yoga teacher to adults and teens. I was introduced to Mindfulness two years ago and have since been studying with the CMI Institute UK to become a Mindfulness Based Yoga Teacher. I've been on and off the 8 week courses, dipped my toes in and out of the awareness bath, but truthfully too scared to sit with emotions and thoughts for fear of what might lie underneath. 6 months ago I became very 'stuck' and started backing away from the practice. Full of resistance and my own stuff getting in the way. I made the choice to get some help (Cognitive Analytic Therapy) and working weekly with my therapist and Mindful practices I'm beginning to be able to sit with the 'hurt' emotions. It blows me away how incredible this practice is and I'm really grateful to have found it.

I need the network and connection of other people practicing mindfulness and this site is wonderful so thank you!

I'm also a little bit in love with Mark Williams voice and the softness and poetry of John KZ's vocabulary.

Nice to meet you on here.
I'm new too, my chum Rara invited me on.
Spot on with that 'dealing with emotions' those do for sure 'surface'.
Every success to you with the training and your future teaching.
