Will someone explain 'silent retreat'?

Free Flow Breath or Controlled Breath?

Most of the experts strictly recommend not to control the breath, and let it flow freely, during breath meditation, while some of the experts recommend to control the breath, e.g. Thich Nhat Hanh in his famous book "The Miracle of Mindfulness". So what is the rational behind seemingly cont...

Recurring Problematic Situations

I have been practising mindfulness for more than 2 years. These days I am following “ The Turning Point ” by Jon Wilde & Gerard Evans. It is the beginning of my 7th week. Previously, I was enjoying mindfulness (as well as the book). Suddenly I started facing much difficulty or a sort of mild cri...

Mindfulness & Kids

My kids are 12 years and 8 years old. Can I invite them for mindfulness? If so, how could I inspire them and what resources can I use?
Anyother advice you want to share for kids in this respect?

Re: Back to Thinking Mode

Jon,
If you are busy, no problem. I have already written that I respected you and admired you for your commitment. You have helped me a lot in the past, and I am always thankful to you. If you choose, you may respond to my concerns, after your busyness is over. Thank you.
