I urge you to continue with mindfulness, but also to read Overcoming MS by Prof George Jelinek. His website is very informative and includes a forum.

I have MS and feel that the diet and lifestyle modifications will help you.

On a retreat in Italy discovers the benefits of mindful meditation. Parks movingly and hilariously details his experience. A must read.

Prof Mark Williams has a number of books and CDs which I think would help. Most importantly remember that minds will wander. Mindful med is not about emptying the mind and banishing thought. I still tend to use guided meditations, especially for 40 min mindful med sessions - which just fly by. I used to find 15 min meditation sessions seemed to last quite some time. But now my mind seems a bit addled if I don't meditate. You really notice if you haven't meditated.

Reliance on guided meditations

I've been a regular meditator for ten months, and use meditation as stress reduction for MS. I've found it hugely helpful but one question I have is do you rely on guided meditations or do you go solo with silence?
