Hi all!

I have a somewhat strange request! I have been using the headspace app for a while now and I've found the mindfulness buzzer really useful (basically, your phone vibrates a couple of times a day to remind you to be mindful in that moment)

I was wondering if anyone knew of a device that does the same thing (vibrates or gives you some kind of subtle reminder at random or fixed intervals) that isn't your phone?

I'm getting married in a few months and I would love to have some kind of frequent reminder to slow down on the day and enjoy it but carrying around my phone wouldn't be practical for this (or for my fiance!)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Kevin

Hi Kevin,
I found this piece about mindfulness watches. Hope it proves useful.

What about using everyday things as a call to come back to the present moment? Things like: opening doors, red lights, brushing your teeth. Train yourself to use these things as a signal to come back; I know it works for a lot of people.

I employ my spaniel as a call back to the present moment. Every time he wakes up from a snooze, I'm with it.
Every time he wakes up he expects a biscuit, but that's another story.
