Paul here. I'm a psych nurse, who came to mindfulness when learning about Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and chanced upon this here forum whilst trawling the interweb.

Hello everyone :ugeek:

Thanks chaps. I'm simply a humble staff nurse Gareth, but I do try to spread the Mindfulness word amongst my colleagues and patients. I'm involved in a DBT informed skills group which teaches the basics of Mindfulness. And I'm not on strike today!

Be humble for you are made of earth. Be noble for you are made of stars. ~ Serbian Proverb

A bit cheesy I know, but it's one of the quotes I have used on @mindfuleveryday, and it's definitely true.

What I meant is: do you have a daily meditation practice?

"Practitioner" means something different in the healthcare world :geek:
But yes Gareth, I do practice daily. I struggled on and off for some time but my practice seems to have become embedded and I do both formal and informal practice.
At the moment I'm reading, researching and immersing myself in the subject - which is how I chanced upon your great website

Hello Paul, lovely to meet you :)
