Everyday Mindfulness has had a baby and it's name is Live Chat!
See bottom of page and feel free to join in.
A big cheer to those responsible for setting the chat function up.

See at the bottom of the Board Index page.

It makes a little squeak when someone posts (if you have the 'use sound' box ticked) so you can keep the page open while working on other things and be notified if anyone posts.

It works as a kind of informal message board even as it is - it gives the forum a more 'live' feel (of course) - one gets a feeling of people flowing through this place more.

So what are we going to do with it?

So what are we going to do with it?
Discuss the best skateboarding kitten clips we've seen on YouTube?

Yes - it's time to get with the program; you can't stop the ramps in the park, but you can learn to skateboard like kitty.

Thanks Gareth. Hopefully it will open up some new potentials - like monthly online 'live' meetups, for example.

Monthly online meet-ups are a great idea.
A good opportunity for group members to get to know each other better.
I didn't realise Bio was the brains behind the chat function. Top work, fellow Welshman.
Cheers, Jon

Brill - so let's announce a date - how can it be promoted?
Is the current 20 second gap between posts appropriate?
Can the server or whatever deal with the traffic sufficiently?
Is there going to be a topic/agenda/general schedule, to keep things moving smoothly and valuably?
Will there be snacks? Oh....

Are you from Wales Jon? You sounded West Country to me on the phone.

We can alter it back to 10 seconds no problem.

Born and bred Welsh, Gareth.
That said, I was born and bred in Pembrokeshire which is popularly known as "the little England beyond Wales", so maybe that's where the confusion arises.
I think the chat function is a great development. It'll be interesting, to say the least, to see how it works out.
All good things.
