Hi Paul and welcome to the community
As Jon and Gareth have said, a chat function is in the works. My own thoughts on that is to try and be online at specified times a few times and encourage everyone else to arrange to 'meet up' to chat too but we will see how the whole process unfolds. In the meantime chat away

I agree with Paul, I would be excited about the prospect of a chat function.
This is certainly 'in development' now so hopefully we can try this out quite soon
