So, last night I sat with my electronic calendar and planned everything for the week including my formal practice times. I went back to basics and colour coded it the way I was taught in rehab so I can see at a glance how busy each day is. I am hoping this will help me re-establish daily sitting because I do feel so much better for having done it.
I think I will always come across times in my life when I 'forget' about the challenges both OI and the haemorrhage have left me with, more importantly I forget I can't simply force myself through regardless of pain or other issues they cause. Accepting both that fact and the fact I will forget remains a very challenging but rewarding learning curve.
I will start a new thread for the ext part of the year long Headspace journey and try and keep it updated. As each day builds on the one before I certainly think it will be more helpful to be more consistent.
