Situations in which it is impossible to remain mindful. Part 1.
When the railway station clerk informs you that your day return ticket from Brighton to Manchester will set you back £376.
£376!!!
And that doesn't even include a complimentary biscuit.

Wow! Did you cough up? They reckon HS2 is gonna bring prices down, but i reckon we're just gonna tear through beautiful countryside and pay through the nose in terms of fares and taxes for the privilege.

A 40 minute bus journey out into the sticks north of Beijing cost me a mere 4 pence!
