Has anyone else seen this http://www.mindful.org/news/mindfulness-day-0

Mindfulness Day this Wednesday.

I am guessing this is more about getting information about Mindfulness out there since mindfulness can be done anywhere at any time.

For the majority of us, most of our waking hours are spent at work, and sadly, our jobs can frequently become a source of stress or exhaustion. What I wonder, though, is how much of that stress is brought on ourselves due to our poor mental habit of rejecting the present moment and overwhelming ourselves with future worries or past obsessions. ..

The ancient yogis taught karma yoga, or cultivating meditation in action through one's daily activities, and spiritual teachers like Eckhart Tolle and Jon Kabat-Zinn remind us that through mindful attention on the present moment, any task can become a source of joy and peace...

Hmmm. Mindfulness day. I guess if it encourages a few people to look into mindfulness it's no bad thing.
As David Bowie didn't sing, "We could be mindful, just for one day."
Jon leads the Everyday Mindfulness group meditation on Zoom every Monday/Friday, 6pm London-time. FREE.

Dammit, I missed it! Why am I so disorganized?! Why do I always miss these things?! I'm useless! Terrible!

Don't beat yourself up about it, it was last year ;)
I have looked and can't see anything indicating it is being repeated this year but then everyday is mindfulness day :D

I'm celebrating by trying out the 24 hour mini mindful challenge offered by Elisha Goldstein.
It's something I try to do every day anyway but the extra reminder is welcome :)
