Glad to have found you all

Please post your mindfulness stories here and your story might also feature on our blog (with your permission). You can also introduce yourself here. We want to create a library of mindful journeys and experiences.

Hello,

Thank you for letting me introduce myself as a new member of this forum. I love what it has to offer, and I look forward to learning and sharing with this community.

I began practicing mindfulness with my wife when we moved to a small town, expecting a simple way of life, only to find it wasn't so simple. We were chasing two young kids around, trying to work and enjoy the beauty of our town in the mountains of Colorado, USA. The reality that a small town did not equate to a simple life led us to embrace a mindfulness practice.

While I practice mindfulness, and have found great benefits from this practice, much of my focus is on helping extend a practice through our work with educators around the world. It has been a marvelous ride since we embarked on our work four years ago, and happy to now be involved in so many great conversations about the power and benefits of a mindfulness practice, especially as it relates to the education of young people.

So, let me say thank you for letting me join this community, and again, I am eager for more great conversations through this forum and beyond.

Thanks,

Kenny Reisman

Gareth and Fee Hutch,

Thank you for the kind welcome. Do you know if there is a way I can set up to be notified whenever a new post of any kind occurs? I noticed I am able to be notified when there is a post to this thread, but curious of the general notification possibility?

thanks so much,

Kenny

There's a way to do it in your user control panel. Have a go, and if you're still struggling come back to me.
