When I started mindfulness. In the first session we talked a lot about dogs. And how dogs are very mindful creatures. The more I got into the course, the more and more I realised how dogs are mindful creatures, and my dog, Toby became my favourite person to meditate with. He lies next to me when I formally meditate, and walks with me when I go on mindful walks.

It was about two weeks into the course where it clicked in my brain Toby is a 'mindful' creature. We were out walking... He ran on, chasing some birds and went under a fence. I was a hundred percent freaking out... Toby on the other hand... Was loving life. He was exploring, when he eventually came back to me. I was all 'rawrrrr bad dog' but to him, he hasn't done anything wrong. He came back to me (and was expecting a piece of chicken

The subject of dogs came up a lot during group. (Much to my delight, I can take forever about my dog) on the last week as I left...Matt told me 'rainbow be as mindful as your dog'

So that's what I'm trying to do. Be as mindful as Toby.
I hope this makes sense. (And you enjoyed the pictures)
Hope you are all well.
