So we are training our subconscience to make less mistakes when on autopilot mode?. I.e the footballer who plays amazingly following years of training may then be able to utilize the extra capacity that remains to concentrate on additional things...like additional skills and trickery.
So by practicing mindfulness more and more, 24/7 I could be a super beast!

Mindfulness or focus is essential in sport. Downhill mountain bikeing is my favourite sport and one of the reasons I like it is that there is very good incentive to stay focused. If my mind wanders then I'm likely to crash and that hurts!
