Given the state of my teeth it might take me the entire 8 weeks.
Jon leads the Everyday Mindfulness group meditation on Zoom every Monday/Friday, 6pm London-time. FREE.

I think this is a wonderful idea Fiona. In the future we could look at maintaining threads for each week of the course for people to join in and support each other with. It might encourage people to engage with the 8 week course too - a proven introduction into mindfulness. Definitely give this thread some promotion while I am away, you might want to make it sticky too.
I will promote it and if I can find the sticky option I'll do that too
Really excited and looking forward to getting started.

Always good to start again - beginner's mind and all that.

You could even start a separate board that is dedicated to the 8 week practice? Sticky each week then people can enter and leave it as they like, and it would become a permanent resource for people pursuing the course. Moreover, threads general to the course could begin beneath as with any normal board?
Just a thought

I was going to suggest this too - I think it's a good idea.

Hi There !! .... I'm a newbie to this site, just a bit of an introduction first ....... I started a Mindfulness/Meditation course (one lesson of an hour per week) at the local community centre thing 5 weeks or so ago, I seem to be getting more enthusiastic about the whole concept and practice of Mindfulness as we go on ......
I've been reading past posts on the forum for the past few days and had some of my questions/feelings about things resolved so I was real pleased finding this site, seems like a good place to come to talk about this whole thing, I am like a child with a new toy at the moment, very excited and positive about the Mindfulness/Meditation concept and doing my best job of putting it into practice.
So I hope nobody thinks I'm gate crashing, but I've ordered the FPIAFW book, expect it to come through later this week, and I'll try and catch everybody up on this in the next couple of weeks, I'll get back on that
so basically Hello everybody !!
