I have made some small changes today, I would appreciate your feedback. Basically, I have reduced the number of sections from four to three and altered the descriptions slightly.

I like the changes. Looks a lot neater. Easier to navigate.

I agree about the problem with the time lines. As a new person here, I felt very ambiguous about where to describe myself, and quite embarrassed to 'rate' myself on a scale. I wonder if it would be helpful to reduce the options to Beginners and then More Experienced. I do know I'm not a beginner but I also feel however long we've been meditating we need to bring a Beginner's Mind to our practice anyway.

I like Gareth's idea of some way for 'trained' teachers to identify themselves, maybe just in their signature? There is something about feeling that advice is not just an opinion but from long-term practice and experience?

Yes, I think the idea behind having forum members who are trained mindfulness teachers highlighted is so other users know where their thoughts and experiences are coming from. We all share our thoughts and experiences but a trained mindfulness teacher might have a wider range of these things to offer. Gareth and I don't anticipate that having teachers on the boards will inhibit others from offering their own answers to questions, we hope they will enrich the conversations. :)
