I too have started losing weight, was the "gonna do" type, just incorporating in a change of routine small steps at a time. First week 4lb loss, just need to keep on it, which the mindfulness is helping - times of stress that I'd turn to food now trying to take 10 minute and meditate, realise what I can and cannot change and accept it.

Thanks. The radios have been stopped. It got put to a vote apparantly so very pleased with that. There are a couple of very loud people next to me who rarely stop talking which does my head in but I tell them to pipe down when they get too much! Overall though a lot better for my mental state.

Still 14.5 stones on the scales.

I've been trying to get an early night to meditate these last few nights but Mrs CJ doesn't seem to condone me doing this and coincidentally finds hundreds of thing to talk about, so hoping next few nights are not the same!

Using mindfulness to help get through the monotony and stress of the working day. Roll on home time.

I'm making lists on spreadsheets and my phone of reminders as I spend a lot of time thinking about what I have to do which wears me out! Hoping this will help.

Doing gentle stomach clenches at work to help with my weight loss challenge! Need to keep reminding myself to do this and also to relax my muscles (make myself feel heavy) as this does wonders.

I recently moved to a much quieter office so my mind is a lot more peaceful through the day.

I'm working from home at the moment now. It's a busy house but a lot better as no pen 'slamming' on the desks (sounds like slamming). It was sending me around the twist. Went on scales yesterday and heading towards the 16 stone mark. Started to use the mini exercise bike since I fixed the clicking on one of the pedals but pulled a muscle so have had to have a few days off.

I recently downloaded 'headspace' app. I have had a few sessions which was quite good but now it's saying my free sessions are up so on to youtube to find some. I have found around 8pm the best time to do some mindfulness meditation which I'm going to try get into regularly as I haven't done much lately.

I've been a bit under the thumb these last few days. Hoping to get a chance to meditate in the next few days!
