In my opinion the questions aren't really up for debate; the logical approach, to me at least, would be statistically determine the questions that are asked most often.

I think this must be a Dutch phrase. It's not one I'm familiar with. :o

In relation to the point. Can't we do both things? Have a discussion here, involving forum members as to what we regard as the most important questions, and then use data from the forum to add to/validate that list.

Besides, it seems like one heck of a job to go through the whole forum extracting every question from every post. Not one that I envisage being done any time soon...

Of course you can do both. I know you like to generate debate in the forum, Gareth ;) but I predict that very few people will contribute. So one can wonder how meaningful such a debate is, how much traffic it will generate, and how objective the list will be. But that's just what I think, which isn't in anyway the truth. I will be happy nomatter what you decide.

Too much future, as I'm frequently heard to utter. ;)

Let's just see what we get and decide what to do with it then? I hope to get some mindfulness teachers to look at the topic, and give some experience from their classes.

Hmm.
But I don't think anyone needs to rake through the archive of posts to decide what the most common questions are. They ought to be obvious to any regular readers.
To save time, why don't we invite FAQ question suggestions for a fortnight or so, then someone very wise and generous with his time (eg. Peter) could narrow the list down to what is workable. That would only leave the challenge of deciding how best to answer the FAQ questions. Maybe that stage could be a collaborative effort.
A lovely day here on top of a hill outside Lewes. Time for some meditation...

I'll think up something, and get back to y'all..
For now I'll put a lock on the topic, until the team has agreed on an approach.
