Mindfulness Teacher Training

Post here if you have been practising for a while, and you are starting to get your head around what this is all about. Also post here if you are a long-term practitioner with something to say about the practice.

Hello!
This is just my first post on this forum, but I'm needing some information and I'm hoping this might be the place to ask for help?!
I have a dream to become a mindfulness teacher.I have had a daily formal practice for 18 months, completed ACT and DBT programs and my life has changed exponentially. Now i want out of my corporate job and to give back to the community and the universe.
I'm wondering...
- What might be involved in this journey?
- Where are the best places to study?
- Is there an accredited education provider?
ANYTHING that anyone might have on this topic would be so unbelievably helpful!!
-Namaste, Georgia xx

Hi there, georgiaonmymindful .
Welcome to the forum.
As it happens I'm currently training to be a mindfulness teacher here in the UK.
Given that we're on different continents, I'm not sure how much useful advice I can offer. I know very little about teaching programs in the US. But I'd be happy to help out in whatever way I can.
It's probably easier if I pm you my email address.
All best wishes,
Jon, Hove, UK
