i dont know if meditation can solve my problem

Post here if you are just starting out with your mindfulness practice. Mindfulness is a really difficult concept to get your head around at first, and it might be that you would benefit from some help from others.

Mindfulness develops interception which is a sensitivity to the internal physiological conditions or stimuli within the body. It is a blocked inability for interceptions that is leaving you feeling empty/hollow.

The origin of this can have multiple causes, and from my experience, it can be caused by a variety of things such as trauma, addiction, depression, or even particular attachment style or family of origin/parenting history. This is something you could investigate with a therapist and then address at a deeper level using mindfulness or a somatic based approach perhaps.

You should seriously consider working with a group. The reason being is that working on your own condemns you to a process of trail and error. Which is OK if you can stomach that process (it takes time to find your way), but if you need timely help then go with a skilled facilitator, with a strong personal practice of their own and a structured, recognized program.

You are dealing with the deep-seated fears and misunderstandings that all humans must contend with. And that's comparing ourselves to others and fearing that some thing is "wrong" with us.

You can't see what is in your friends' minds, but we all have doubts from time to time. And inner peace is reached after an often-exhausting journey. As we redefine fears, they are replaced by deeper-seated ones. It takes time.

Just relax, and be curious when you have thoughts that are self-attack. Don't judge, but ask your mind why it thinks what it does.

Looking inward is the way to find peace.

hey guys. Honestly i feel so useless. I dont know what to say because i dont want to be negative, yet im still writing you this. I have now realized how weak my mind is. I dont know if i have a personality disorder, anxiety disorder or whatever. My condition feels unique, it feels like i cant function in a regular human way. I am totally disconnected from myself. And this isnt some joke, it feels like i have no control over myself whatsoever. Its not worth living like this, it feels like im not a human. Meditation has showed me a degree of controll and peace, but damn.. Honestly its not fair. It feels like this world isnt ment to be. I know i sound suicidal but i wouldnt do it. Just some thoughts. I dont wanna call this depression its more than that honestly. I wish i had depression, instead i feel like nothing and its not the depression causing me this way.

Hello Pajko,
I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling that way.
I've very much enjoyed your posts here on the forum and hope to see more of your posts in the future.
In the meantime, I would gently encourage you to talk to your GP.
All best wishes,
Jon, Hove
