Hello
I'm from the UK and turned to mindfulness following a serious health condition where the bottom fell out of my world.

I'm still a beginner and don't have everything worked out by any means but have started to find peace and contentment in my life.

I can relate to that. I turned to mindfulness after being diagnosed with MS. For me it has been miraculous in helping to learn to live with the disease.

Good luck on your journey.

Hi guys I am so interested in hearing your stories about the health improvements that you have achieved using mindfulness. I am a researcher currently undertaking some research that explores the effects that mindfulness practice can have on improving a variety of different long term health conditions. Through this research I am interested in examining the effects that mindfulness practice can have on psychological health, overall wellbeing, management of physiological symptoms, emotional reactivity and behavioural regulations.

Is there any possibility we could have a chat over Skype?

Hi Jemma,
No problem with you putting the word out there regarding your research but please do not approach individual members of this site asking for their co-operation.
If they are interested in taking part in your research, they will no doubt contact you.
Thank you.
