I often find that, with the practice of Mindfullness and meditation you can almost sense when a thought can have a positive or negative effect. This morning, driving down the motorway, a song reminded me of a conversation the previous night, which then triggered an emotion.
The potential to let such emotions influence our day are, I think heightened if we are not mindful.
That is one of the many benifits of the practice.
Anybody agree?

Absolutely.

Awareness is key. Noticing your thoughts and emotions and how they affect you is the essence of mindfulness.
