Mindfulness for early mornings

Hi all,
I hope you are well in these scary times?
Just wondering if someone could recommend a good practice for early morning, preferably whilst still lying in bed. I have picked up that I have gotten into quite unhealthy habits since the lockdown, so I am thinking I could benefit from mixing up my practice.
Thank you and stay safe,
Jamie

Hi Jamie!
If you like the sound of birdsong just lying for a few minutes before getting up & listening to birdsong can really perk you up.
You too. Take care!
Ann

I hate the sounds of birds tweeting on a morning. I do stomach clenches to help burn calories whilst laying in bed on a morning.

Everyone's different. I love the sound of birdsong.

It must be a case of the birds round my way are not as good at singing.

It depends on the types of birds that are nearby. Blackbirds, robins, sparrows, pigeons & doves sound lovely. Magpies & crows don't sound too good.

'It must be a case of the birds round my way are not as good at singing.'
Maybe it's the listening that's the problem?

High probability! At 5am when needing sleep it's not ideal and with sensitive hearing.
