Everyday Mindfulness

Do others sense that we're on the verge of a new form of enlightenment?

My own practice has started bearing fruit, and the information age allows me to look for evidence of others who are also awakening.. and I'm finding them!!

Blogs, Twitter, Forums.. there are people who are obviously posting original material that has the marks of authentic understanding.

I have also noticed this. Clearly, there is more and more scientific evidence published and made widely visible to support the benefits of mindfulness. I am seeing this kind of info more often in mainstream media and people are picking up on it. There is a lot of research being done in Canada as well. Yes this can only be a good thing for the planet. :-)

Welcome to Oli. For those of you who don't know him, he knows lots about mindfulness. He wrote a great book about mindfulness which helped me de-mystify it. Mindfulness is as normal as having a cup of tea.

Hello Everyone,

I have just joined this new group that Gareth has kindly set up. I met Gareth on another internet site a couple of years ago, we have shared a similar journey together and also live in the same city.

I am a long time meditator as well as a Reiki Master.
I am well aware of the rising global consciousness, you can sense and it almost feel it !
I find that in meditating and learning to trust in my meditation (and as I also incorporate self Reiki healing in to the meditation), nothing is a problem anymore. Situations seem to evolve their own solutions and as long as I stay open minded and 'mindful' I know that I am protected, loved and safe.
Does anyone know what I am talking about, or is it just me?

Life is wonderful and I have never been so happy !!

I know exactly what you mean Graham. Mindfulness has opened up the floodgates of love and peace in my heart. Surrender to the world and this can be your reward.
