Argh, it was going so well!

Great morning. Despite a headache, I stayed focused, calm and was able to achieve a lot.

So I'm taking the afternoon off. Just went to start cleaning the kitchen and for some reason, I felt disrupted (perhaps the energy boost from my carrot soup) I became more "excited", I don't know why (I've always been a big kid really) Unfortunately, mindfulness out the window, 2 minutes in and I scraped my finger on a sharp part of the wall near the sink.

The cut is DEEP! Ugh, so now I'm sitting here moaning with my plaster on. I suppose I'd better go downstairs and this time, pace myself and mindfully finish the job!

I hope your finger, and the rest of you, is feeling less painful this morning ?

Haha, yes, let the air get to it past night. Thanks :) It's all good practice, everything in life!

I made carrot soup a few days ago and it was awful for some reason. Maybe the carrots are conspiring against us....

It could very well have been the carrot soup. I am against cooked carrots in any form

Especially tinned carrots. They are on their own little axis of evil.

I eat a lot of carrots, both raw and cooked. They're good for your eyesight. I'm able to see through brick walls and around corners on the strength of my daily carrot fix.
