Hello!

Post here if you have been practising for a while, and you are starting to get your head around what this is all about. Also post here if you are a long-term practitioner with something to say about the practice.

I'm new here on this forum. I completed Palouse MBSR last year as a gift to myself, I'm almost at 20 years of regular daily MBSR practice. My first exposure to it was with Dr. Hale, who teaches MBSR is Lawrence Kansas, based on Jon Kabat Zinn system. I have a lot of needs for mindfulness with the advancing years of my life. It was a bit of a roller-coaster at first but now things are pretty calm. I also had a long-term attendance with Sangha of Thich Nhat Hahn, who inspired Kabat Zinn in the early days, and learned some zazen from Fukushima Keido Roshi of Kyoto. I attend a small group at Arlington UUA. Looking forward to some great exchanges here!
