I want to say hello to everyone who has the courage to investigate mindfulness, especially beginners. I want to post in both sections so I can contact everyone who is in this journey toward mindfulness. I love to read about meditation and mindfulness and will also check the resource category out. I am an older practitioner and just retired. In my life I have been involved in martial arts, tai chi, and qigong.Mostly on weekends when i worked. I am still training in these areas. but recently i have been took on the practice of 'sitting'. call it what you want, meditation or mindfulness training. I just sit, and breathe, and just tune into my being. anyway, I hope this is a place I can write and discuss things about mindfulness. Usually there isn't alot of participation in these kind of forums. lets face it, we all get to busy. I know when I was working, i hardly had anytime for anything but work and sleep. So now I want to develop my awareness of whats important in my life.
