thoughts on mindfulness and identity

Hello,
I am new to this forum and also relatively new to the practice of mindfulness. I began mindfulness practices after I began studying the effects of everyday mindfulness for my undergraduate dissertation. I joined this forum to get to know the world of mindfulness from the point of view of people who are individually practicing and communicating this within a wider community online.
I am wondering if anyone would share their thoughts on if their experience of mindfulness has constructed a change in their identity and how communicating and sharing stories via forums and blog platforms adds to your experience of mindfulness?
