One of the true tests of a commitment to mindfulness, and a good opportunity for practicing: a week-long visit with my family! My track record so far: so-so.

Blimey. A week-long visit from the family would be enough to turn The Buddha himself into Genghis Khan.

^ what he said! Actually I find staying in the moment (rather than running ahead to what might happen or disappearing back into the midst of time and reliving what has already happened) does make these things easier.
