I too enjoy walking meditation. I love being outdoors and combining breathing with fresh air is great (and a great way of integrating yourself with nature).
Although I have done the very slow type walking meditation I prefer a normal paced one. You can also combine the body scan with a walking meditation - I found this to be a very effective way of really being with the physical movements associated with walking.

Sort of similar to this, I found last week at the gym on a treadmill I was really starting to get absorbed in the sounds around me, the noise of the treadmill, the actual environment, the feelings of running against the fast moving belt, the feelings in my legs and feet (body scan), It was great to suspend all the thoughts in my head and get really caught up in what I was doing.
