Planning the Forum Live Chat Meetup

Post here if you are just starting out with your mindfulness practice. Mindfulness is a really difficult concept to get your head around at first, and it might be that you would benefit from some help from others.

Hello

So we want to do a whole forum 'live meetup' using the chat function, is that right?

What do people think about this? If you don't know where the chat function is, it's at the bottom of the BOARD INDEX page.

How can it be arranged and then announced to members?

Let's set a date and a time (if you can manage it, between 8am and 2pm UK time for me :? - the earlier the better during the week, later towards 2pm on the weekends  ) .

I have been noticing the response time of the chat mod is a little laggy - I don't think that's a big problem, but can anything be done about that?

Let's just pluck a date out of air and go for it.

OK.

What about promoting it / informing any forum members who may want to take part?

I'll make this into an announcement, so the topic gets a bit more visibility.

I'll have to let you know closer to the time on my availability. Having two under 4s in the house makes it difficult to plan sometimes.

I would love to do this. 8am-2pm UK time on the weekends would be ideal for me.

However I am flexible and can do Mid Week if need be :)
