I see colours

Post here if you are just starting out with your mindfulness practice. Mindfulness is a really difficult concept to get your head around at first, and it might be that you would benefit from some help from others.

Hi I've been meditating for a couple of months now and the last few times I've seen pulsating colours. It happens once I'm really relaxed and I mainly see purple and also red. What does this mean? Is it normal?

Hi Eleanor.
Welcome to the forum.
That sounds interesting and not something to worry about.
Mindfulness really comes down to being with whatever is arising in our experience from moment to moment - pleasant, unpleasant, or even something a little unusual.
My advice would be to simply notice the pulsating colours when they arise, meeting them with bare attention and curiosity. Just allow them to be. And enjoy them for what they are.
