I am the antithesis of mindfulness

Post here if you are just starting out with your mindfulness practice. Mindfulness is a really difficult concept to get your head around at first, and it might be that you would benefit from some help from others.

Thanks Gareth. I've picked up this book (http://www.amazon.com/Why-Cant-Meditate-Mindfulness-Practice/dp/0349405751) and I'm about 1/4 of the way through it. It looks head on at the difficulties people face with Mindfulness Meditation including misconceptions about having a "clear mind" during meditation and other barriers to practice. I'm liking it and think it will be helpful. I'm also still going strong on my daily 20 mins of meditation. I think it's starting to bear some fruit as to my frustration levels.
