Thanks guys! It is not the body sensations that annoy me, but the mind that keeps going over and over about things that are not to the point. It is the doing - mind in action as I learnt this week form 'Mindfulness for Health', instead of the being - modus.
But just being aware of these signals means I am on the right track? Indeed, I try to concentrate on my breath, but I don't want to end up being breathing all day *_*

resting awareness on the breath helps you begin to see when your mind wanders off. so you're on the right track.
your mind won't stop wandering any less you'll just be more aware of mind wander and able to let thoughts go during the rest of the day.
you don't have to be aware of your breath all day, you're using that as a sort of reference point, an anchor to the present moment firstly to notice when you're not aware of your breath (mind wander) and then to come back to when you do notice.
the awareness you develop during practice then comes into the rest of your day.
the body scan works in many different ways, on different levels.
the awareness of body sensations can help notice emotions coming on. you begin to learn each emotions body sensation and can recognise it.
you begin to see that sensations are almost constantly shifting and changing, that mostly they're not fixed- chronic pain excepted.
