I'm hoping to have a discussion with Jon & Fiona in the next couple of weeks about possible changes that we can make to the structure of the forum, to make it into a neater place. As ever, I want this to be a community project, so I was looking for any suggestions from users of the forum about how we might best change things (if at all).

My own feelings are that the Practising Mindfulness sections are working quite well these days. They regularly get new topics, and the division into two fora: 'beginner' and 'experienced' seems about right.

I was wondering about the other sections though. Mindfulness Resources looks OK, although it doesn't get as much traffic as I would expect. My own personal view is that General Discussions needs a little work, there are many subfora in there that go weeks without getting a new post. This suggests to me that we ought to do some merging/condensing here with perhaps some new names and descriptions for the fora.

Let us know what you think, and we'll discuss it when we get round to having a chat.

My concern is that if we keep editing and moving things around regular users will have to keep hunting for what they need.

The forums as the stand are clearly defined and growing naturally I think. :)

My first thought is that it's high time that I got round to composing that list of books I've been long promising…
Also, I do think General Discussions needs a rethink.
I also long for the day when one than one person will be on Live Chat at any one time. ;)
Cheers,
Jon, Hove
