Lets talk.....I don't like it.

At the top of the forum underneath the name, it says Let's talk....I put it there, because I didn't know what else to put. I don't like it one bit, problem is that I can't think of anything else.

Any suggestions?

Haha - I'm glad you've said this - I thought it a bit creaky too when I first saw it, but I'm not sure of what could go there instead. Maybe something like "It's here..." (using the 'here and now' emphasis) or "The time is now..." (a JKZ joke he uses in presentations when he looks at his watch and says the time is always 'now') ? I dunno.

Maybe a line that would sum up the forum in some way.
I dunno.
"Questions, answers and mindful chitchat..."
Something along those lines.

Or maybe something more Alan Partridge: "Scale the north face of Mount Chat-mandu.."

I wouldn't have had you down as a partridge fan Tristan! I quite like here and now though.

I saw the Partridge film earlier this week, for work purposes, and thought it was rubbish. Just saying. 3/10 and that's being generous.

I'm a HUGE Partridge fan - haven't seen the new film yet. The preview clips aren't as good as I hoped, but I'm hoping that it's going to be better than a millenium barn dance at Yeovil aerodrome - it must not, I repeat, must not turn into an all-night rave.

I'm a huge fan too but the film is yet another example of a half-hour comedy ill-advisedly stretched out to ninety minutes. It just didn't work for me. I was so bored halfway through that I did a twenty minute meditation in my seat. I preferred Mutiny On The Buses myself. Oddly enough I possess a copy of Beefheart's Trout Mask Replica signed by Reg Varney. I happened to spot Mr. Varney at Brighton station one morning and happened to be carrying a first edition vinyl copy of TMR I'd just bought for fifty quid. So I asked Reg to sign it for me. Must be worth a fortune now. It's a little-known fact that Reg Varney was the first person to use an ATM machine in the UK. June 1967, in Enfield. That's a mindful fact if ever there was.

I like Partridge too but worried it would be an episode stretched far Roo thin. From the trailers I suspected not even Colm Meaney could save it. I do love

"Here and now" - definitely better than before in my opinion.

All we need is a forum backing track of Fatboy Slim's "Right here! right now! right here! etc.." on loop ...that would *ahem* really give people something to practice their non-judgement with ....
