Promoting the site

I'm thinking that cards and/or flyers might be a good way of spreading the word about the site.
Here in Brighton, there's no shortage of places where cards or flyers could be displayed to alert like-minded people to the existence of Everyday Mindfulness. e.g. We have a widely-renowned Buddhist centre and a fair few meditation venues. I appreciate though that not all towns and cities will be similarly blessed.
I'd appreciate some feedback on this idea.
I recently ordered some business cards for my local mindfulness group and they weren't particularly expensive. I'm not sure how much flyers would cost but I could easily check that out. To save costs, maybe someone could volunteer to knock up an eye-catching flyer which could then be copied and distributed to any group members who may have ideas about where they could be displayed to attract potential members.
It might be an idea to utilize that wonderful mindfulness symbol that Gareth (I think it was Gareth) recently posted about. The one with the drop of water. I can't locate the original post. If memory serves, the artist has given his blessing for the image to be used without charge.
Cheers, Jon

For me, the most important job here is a detailed trawl of the internet building up mindfulness contacts across the world (email, address, website etc). We can then go about mailing these people and promoting the forum. The new site will be coming soon, so we can promote that too, because although we all love the forum, it's not the type of thing that everybody goes in for, and we want to promote mindfulness to everybody, not just those like us that like to gas in an internet forum. I started this piece of work a while ago, but my life is so busy that I haven't been able to continue it yet.
