I will get one done. I have quite a lot on the go at the moment - lots of mindfulness-based projects starting up and coming to a close. Anyone interested in testing out (or knows someone interested in testing) the Mindfulness Android App I've made?

Heh ;) My partner's father calls me a 'creative psychopath'. It would sound like a compliment if he hadn't been a psychiatric nurse (!).

I can make one for this forum when current projects settle a little. As mentioned on Fee's quotes thread, maybe we can collect all the best quotes from the forum and the info from the website and put it all together - with a direct link to the website, etc., using the same look and feel to stay with the 'brand image' so to speak.

The present quietness here still concerns me a little. Is there another forum or website that has emerged which is drawing away potential members here?

I think it sounds like a great idea Bio :) I really can't wait to see what it will be like. I am in more of a position to try it out now too if you still need some help with that?

It has been quiet here over the last few weeks because Gareth, Jon and I have all had a lot of time away from the community for one reason or another. I think Gareth works tirelessly, especially on twitter, to try and engage with the world and encourage them to come and visit. I spotted a tweet this morning asking for input around using social media so if anyone has any ideas for how we can reach more people please speak up.

As Gareth has always said, this is a community project and if anyone has a suggestion please post is as Bio has done so we can help each other and our community grow. :)

Don't get me started. I pull my mind back from trains of thought like this many times in a given day. We need to be mindful about this (difficult though isn't it?)

We have a core of passionate, committed and talented people here and my positive thoughts about the future of this project far outweigh the negative ones. We also have a twitter account that is becoming a behemoth, and this is a really effective way of getting a message out to many people. We are also building up contacts with influential mindfulness people, so the future is bright in my eyes. I just wish I had the time to do some proper promotion of the site and forum (I have many ideas). Also, the ideas for this site stretch beyond the forum. We have Jon's foray into books and interviews and Tristan's adventures with Android, also more to add to the main site. All this is just a year and a bit since the site started!

Onwards and upwards.

Still working up to the books section...
I'm away now for four days (zombie-hunting out in Atlanta on the Walking Dead tip) but I'll have another go next week, if the zombies haven't eaten me for breakfast.
Jon leads the Everyday Mindfulness group meditation on Zoom every Monday/Friday, 6pm London-time. FREE.

I still think this is a great idea, but my life has just been so busy that I haven't been able to give it any attention.

Today I have added a link to the video testimonials from the main site, but there is still only my video on there. We need some more videos! My story is just one among so many. The YouTube idea is a stupendous one, but unfortunately I don't have the time to dedicate to that, so if there are any volunteers?

I'm gonna send an email out soon to some mindfulness types; I would really like to get this idea going.

This is an exciting idea that would help a lot of people get into mindfulness. I would definitely be willing to do a video!
