I'd love to get some new members for this foru, but after plenty of people joined initially, we haven't had a new member for ages.

The twitter account is getting really popular and I am constantly plugging the forum from there. I am also collating a list of emails for people/places involved in mindfulness. Eventually I will send an email to all thos, plugging this forum. Rara (David) is working on some youTube videos to try and help promote the site too.

Can anyone else think of ideas? Any help is appreciated.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) might be an idea Gareth. This is the process of pushing this site to the top of the list when someone types in 'mindfulness' or 'everyday mindfulness' etc in to Google or another search engine.

When I first started looked for mindfulness resources this is what I did...... and I chose the top few results.

Not sure how it's done mind...... though happy to help/find out.

Luckily, I know a guy that does search engine optimisation. Definitely something that I am going to look into. These are the steps in my mind for the project:

1. Get the site looking how I want it to.
2. Get the forum looking nice - to match the main site.
3. Get promoting the forum.
4. Add content to the site over the months and years to come.

Unfortunately I have to try and juggle all this with a full-time job, twone and a half small children and having MS. It's a good job that mindfulness makes all this much easier. :D

I want Everyday Mindfulness to be a collaborative thing though, so anyway that people want to help is cool by me.
