Dear Mindfulness Practitioner,
My name is Sunny Nwabueze and I am a postgraduate student at Staffordshire University completing my MSc in Sport Psychology. For my dissertation project I am conducting research on the level of mindfulness practice (duration & frequency), type of mindfulness practice and type of mindfulness training to see the impact on general and sport mindfulness level.
I am keen to recruit mindfulness practitioners (individuals who practice mindfulness) who participate in sports at various levels (Elite, Sub-elite and Recreational), to conduct study, which I anticipate will be interesting, and valuable research project on mindfulness practice and its impact.
What will it involve?
All that is required is to complete an online questionnaire, lasting between 10-15 minutes. This will consist of general demographic questions, questions on your practice and training, psychometric questions to measure your general and sports level of mindfulness general well-being.
What are the benefits of taking part?
It will provide valuable insights on how you integrate mindfulness with your sport, the impact of your practice on psychometric measures of general and sport mindfulness. You will be contributing valuable information to promote use of mindfulness in sports. I hope that by reflecting and truthfully answering questions it may contribute meaningfully towards your mindfulness practice and help you learn something new about yourself and your ability to enter a state of mindfulness.
Am I suitable for the study?
The study requires you to be:
• Mindfulness practitioner (practice mindfulness) (Meditation, body scan, mindful yoga, mindful breathing and other informal practice)

Do I have to take part?
Your participation within this study is completely voluntary and you are able to withdraw yourself and your data from the project at any point up until data analysis commences.
Are there any negatives from taking part?
