Received this email today. Looks worthwhile.

I’m Liam Williams, a trainee Clinical Psychologist completing a doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Southampton. I have a specialist interest in supporting people who struggle with worry, due to the distressing impact it has on so many individuals.

I am contacting you as I am seeking support for a study I am currently conducting. The study aims to explore whether different psychological exercises (mindfulness exercises) are better at reducing worry in daily life, in those who experience high levels of worry. The study is completed online and involves participants practicing a 10 minute psychological exercise daily.

In addition to the possible benefits of the exercise participants are compensated for their time with a payment of £10 upon completion and entry into a prize draw (£100 first prize).

We would really appreciate the opportunity to advertise the study on your website, this would include a brief description of the study (I can provide on request) and a link to the website. Would this please be possible?

The study has received ethical approval from the ethics and research governance committee at the University of Southampton. For full details of the study feel free to visit the website and view the first few pages (you don’t have to sign up to view this information). Should you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact me by email or telephone.
