I started the Palouse Mindfulness course and got till week 3. I had to pause midway as I was traveling. Would you recommend restarting the course from Week 1 or can I continue midway?

Hi there.
I'd say it depends on how long your break was. Longer than a week and I'd probably go back to the start of the course.
Let us know how you get along.
Cheers,
Jon

Thanks for the reply Jon. I missed about 2 weeks. 10 days while I was traveling and then 4 days to just get back to it. I find the first week the hardest, so maybe I'll look for something shorter to accomplish, like a 30 day challenge or something.

Well, the beauty of mindfulness is that there's nothing to accomplish and nowhere to get to. It's also a lifelong commitment. So it's probably fair to say it's not a practice for anyone looking for quick fixes.
Good luck,

I meant committing to actually taking out time to meditate. It's been a rough week emotionally and I'm struggling to keep it together. So, something where I'm forced to take time out to do a task.

Are there no 8-week mindfulness courses available in your area, arguseyed?

Unfortunately no. I live in India and mindfulness is not a known concept here. There are 10 day Vipassana retreats, but I haven't been able to find a mindfulness course/teacher.

One option is to follow the course through the book Finding Peace In A Frantic World by Mark Williams and Danny Penman. We have a thread devoted to that course on this forum and you'd find plenty of support amongst members.
All good things,
Jon

Will it help me incorporate mindfulness in my daily activities apart from meditation as well?

The whole point of mindfulness is to be able to incorporate it into your daily activities. The 8-wk course is just a preparation for this.
